About Us - Why we try so hard to make you happy!

We started out in 2003 by stocking various aftermarket parts to suit Nissan Silvias and Skylines. The inevitable reality was that there is so many types of Japanese cars that people want to modify, keeping stock of parts for every model was next to impossible. So we looked at other options, to allow an infinite supply of all the best and hard to find parts available for our customers, and how to offer them at great prices.

We developed our online purchasing service direct from the Yahoo Auctions Japan to give customers all over the world access to literally millions of both genuine and aftermarket parts. The most popular items we have found are aftermarket coilover suspension, turbos, and wheels. What we do is allow customers the opportunity of sourcing all the best gear in Japan, and we arrange purchasing it and getting it sent anywhere in the world. For smaller/lightweight parts we send via air to get deliveries to you within days, direct from Japan to your door anywhere in the world. With monthly shipping containers arriving in Melbourne Port (Australia only) we can help you get all the big/heavy items affordably as well (engines, gearboxes, wheels, bodykits etc).

By utilising our services we can make purchasing from Japan seamless and easy. You dont need to be able to speak or read Japanese, have a Japanese bank account, or even worry about organising freight...because we do all the hard work for you. All you need to do is find the best gear for your import (using our comprehensive search tools) check what it is with the simple translator and then get us to place a bid for you. We will happily confirm any questions about the product and the costs involved in purchasing the item. Once your account is setup, a bid is placed on the elected auction for you. Once the item has been won we arrange getting it to you, taking into consideration your requirements for speed and cost.

As with any auctions, you see some very rare items come up that are not available locally (or are extremely expensive). As we go straight to the source for you, the middle men are cut out to ensure you can get the best parts quicker and cheaper than anywhere else in the world.

To start bidding we will need to setup an account for you which is very quick and simple. All the information you need is listed below, just have a read through and let me know if you have any questions. When you are ready to start bidding on items, just follow the below instructions.
A once off payment of $100 will allow you to start bidding on items (which goes towards crediting your first purchase). Once an auction has been won we will confirm the total price and you can pay the difference which we will confirm (payment must be made within 24 hours).
Payment can be made via either credit card or bank deposit (bank deposit available for Australian customers only).

We accept secure credit card payments via www.paypal.com/au (account name info@slidewizeimports.com) in Australian ($AUD) currency, for PayPal payments an additional 5% on the total price needs to be included. PayPal is a secure way to easily make credit card payments quickly from any major card. You can easily make payment via PayPal from any country at anytime of the day and it clears instantly.
Or, you can pay into our bank account if you prefer (Australian customers only).

Account Name: Slidewize Imports

BSB Number: 013006

Account Number: 498999578

When paying into this account, the quickest way is to go direct to an ANZ branch and deposit the funds via a teller. This provides immediate clear funds. Alternatively if you bank with ANZ, you can use an internet transfer which also clears instantly.
You can also use net banking from other banks to make the payment. You would need to allow around 24-48 hours for the transfer to be successful in this case. Ensuring that you include your name on the internet transfer ensures there are no delays in viewing your payment. If you can email a screenshot of the payment transaction details (JPEG file preferred) we can place a bid immediately for you.
Once payment has been made to start your account, please reply to this email with this information:

1-Method of payment used/date etc (if via netbank please include screen shot of payment confirmation to allow an immediate bid to be placed)
2-Your full name, delivery address and make sure you include a contact number
3-Auction link (untranslated) or the Auction ID
4-Your desired maximum bid in Yen, or budget for the item delivered to your door
5-Preferred delivery method for the item. Options are EMS for small lightweight items, or for Australian customers container freight is available for large heavy parts. You can send items asap or you can wait until you have other items purchased to send at the same time if you prefer.

Once your initial $100 payment has been verified a bid will then be placed for you on the item for you. If we win the item (hopefully for less than your maximum bid) we will confirm the total cost to send the item via your chosen method. We will let you know which is the most cost/time effective method to send each individual item as well. We will also confirm when you would be expected to have the item either arrive at your door (for EMS packages) or when the item will arrive on our next shipping container for Australian customers.

If sent via container and you are unable to pick up the package from Melbourne we can have it sent to you anywhere in Australia. Payment for Australia wide delivery can be made when the item arrives in Australia.
If the auction is not won by us, then let us know of other items that you would like to bid on instead. Alternatively you are entitled to a full refund to your nominated bank account.
We usually only need a few hours notice to place any bids, but get your request in early to make sure we have enough time to get a bid on for you.
Please let me know if you would like to clarify anything about the process. I am here to make the purchase as smooth as possible and oversee the items progress from the initial bid to delivery to you, so please let me know of any questions you may have at any time.
