How we send parts from Japan to you, EMS or Container?

We use two methods of getting parts to you to keep things simple. Both are tried and tested methods that work very well.

EMS is a great way to get parts sent to you via air as quickly as possible. This is best for smaller lightweight items such as injectors, ECUs, Air Filters, gauges and turbos etc. Insurance is included in the price as well (to make a claim you must have opened the package in front of the delivery person though). In most cases EMS is cheaper than sending via standard post, and includes courier delivery to your door anywhere in the world. Transit time is around 7 days from Japan to your front door. Allow 21 days in total from when an auction ends to have it ready to fit on your car. EMS has size limits so any item that is over 150cms long is not suitable for EMS.

Shipping Container is better for large bulky items such as engines, gearboxes, rollcages, rims with tyres, exhausts, body kits and seats. This option is only available for Australian customers. The cost will depend on the size of an item and not the weight in most cases. Items like seats dont weigh much, but are quite bulky so shipping container is the best way to get them here.

So when will my parts get to me?

This is one of the most important factors when making a purchase. EMS will have parts in your hands within 21 days from when an auction is won in most cases. The other service we offer to Australian customers only is Shipping Containers, these leave Japan once a month. You can allow around 12 weeks from purchase date for the Container to arrive in Melbourne. We then arrange local freight for you.

All of the shipping is taken care of by us, you just need to sit back and think about how much fun you will have with your new gear! If you need your parts by a particular date, dont send via shipping container as it is difficult to specify exact dates due to the many stages of purchasing, packing and sending a container. It is very cheap for large heavy items though, but send us an email if you want our recommendation on the best freight option for your purchase.
